The Role
- Wireless communication PHY layer development on FPGA
- Wireless communication baseband algorithm or IP elaboration on FPGA;
- Wireless communication related IP verification on FPGA
- Working with hardware, software and algorithm engineering on wireless
- Complete other temporary work arranged by the superior
Required Qualifications
- Good understanding on wireless communication theory, experience with PHY layer or baseband development
- Familiarity of using FPGA simulation and synthesis tools (Modalism, Viv ado, Simplify, etc.)
- Skilled on VHDL or Verilog programming
Desired Qualifications
- Experience on ASIC/RTL verification for wireless communication chips
- Experience with ASIC/FPGA prototype platform development
- Experience with SoC technologies, radio systems development
Education
The Role
- Programming and testing of Verilog or VHDL with Xilinx or Intel FPGA families;
- Performing FPGA system design including chip selection, logical resource analysis, block diagram design, IP assessment,etc.;
- Working with HW, SW and Algorithm engineers on system integration and development;
- Other FPGA relevant technical support and research tasks
- Complete other temporary work arranged by the superior.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity of using FPGA simulation and synthesis tools (Modalism, Vivado, Synplify, etc. );
- Skilled on VHDL or Verilog programming;
- Testbench and verification experience of RTL blocks
- Experience with control protocols such I2C, SPI, etc;
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with implementing PCIe/JESD204 on Xilinx Serdes
- Experience with verifying ASICs / FPGAs verification platform
- Experience with ADC and DAC signaling and timing
- Experience with SoC technologies, radio systems development
- Good understanding on MATLAB modeling and scripting
